She paced in her office and contemplated her next move. Her sleek dark gray business suit was suited to the dark thoughts in her head. She placed the call that had her in turmoil. He picked up on the first ring. “Yes..?” his brusque voice answered and she knew she had caught him in the middle of something. “No.” She said and quickly hung up the phone and had to sit down she was so dizzy. Her tummy rolled and she had to put her head between her knees, she felt so faint..
After a few moments she felt a bit steadier and rose on shaky legs to walk over to the wall of glass in her office and look out over the city. She turned and moved over to the credenza and poured herself a tumbler of Glen Livet, sipping she walked back to the wall of glass and wondered what would happen next…
She walked to the elevator and knew that her weekend would be long and without any answers so she would do her best to just exist.. One day after the next until she was past this, she was a survivor and would survive this. Looking for her keys she tried to remember where she had had them last…damn they must be upstairs in her office. Nothing to do but to go back up and get them.
Walking down the darkened hallway she moved to her office door and opened it in the dark and walked over to her desk. She felt a subtle something in the dark and her heart sped up, glancing around… she saw him in the shadows sitting on the couch. She walked behind her desk and grabbed her keys and started for the door. He was there before she cleared her desk and had her by the shoulders…”You knew this wouldn’t be the end of it didn’t you?” His coldness startled her. She tried to look up into his eyes and the shadows held his secrets. He shook her shoulders slightly until she gasped and looked up at him again. His mouth crashed down on her lips… She let him have that which he wanted. She pushed away from him and walked over to the glass and looked out over the night city shuddering and trying to calm her inner turmoil. She didn’t know he had moved until he stood behind her and she saw his reflection. Just feeling his heat behind her made her shiver. His breath on her neck had her aching and becoming needy deep inside. He knows her so well and all her weak spots and hidden desires.
“I know you’re afraid, if I don’t push you we will stay where we are now… You need me to help you push those boundaries.” He said and his deep voice washed over her and she quaked deep inside. Stepping away she put some space between them and said in a soft voice…”You want too much, you push too hard.” Her voice soft but strong. “When have we done anything that you did not want or like?” His retort was short and angry. She debated with herself to be honest or to just let it go…
Keeping her back to him, she continued to gaze out at the night and she felt the touch of his hands on her back and he ran his hands lightly over her, he leaned forward and whispered in her ear “Do you really want to end our relationship? When your body responds to me the way it does? When I know what pleases you, how to make you scream… when I know what turns you on and up?” A shiver coursed through her and straightened her spine and moved away from him slightly. “You are taking too much from me…You’re all I think about… I don’t have any thoughts that don’t involve you… I’m losing me…” She told him in her quiet voice. He touched her again and she attempted to move away but he pulled he closer to him until they were touching. He tipped her chin so that she was looking at him and he smiled down at her. “I’m a Dom, you’re supposed to think of me.” “I’m not your submissive!” She stated firmly and frowned. He swooped down and laid claim to her mouth and possessively took a kiss that left her breathless and needy. She melted beneath him and he smiled inside knowing that he could move her in such a way, no matter what she said to him. “Stop, just stop…” She said to him and pushed against him. “I need you to leave me alone.” She whispered and walked away from him and poured herself a drink, drinking a gulp quickly and shuddering. He stood where she had left him and watched her. He wondered what had happened to cause this change and hoped he could find out before she put up to many barriers again. They had made some wonderful progress, he wasn’t about to lose all that, not without a fight.
He removed his suit jacket and placed it on the chair, and removed his tie. She watched him over her glass and a quiver ran through her. She so enjoyed watching him in almost anything he did, but she really had to put a stop to the whole thing. He unbuttoned his cuffs and rolled them up just a bit. He slowly paced toward her and she panicked and made for the door, but he got there before her and she backed away from him. He watched her closely and then paced with her until they were once again by the window. He ran his hands down her face and grasped her loosely around the neck with his hand and watched her eyes as he leaned into her closer and closer. “I am your Dom, have no doubt on that detail. We will work out whatever has become an issue for you and then we will proceed.” “Why would you flee from me, why didn’t you feel you could confide in me so that we could talk about it?” She remained mute where she stood.
Looking up into his face she closed her eyes and a fine tremor coursed through her. “Please… just leave me alone. You have others who obviously you need to train and spend time with. Why me? Why not just make one of them your priority?” She asked in soft tones. She felt his fingers flex and watched his eyes closely. He slowly released her and she turned back to face the lights of the city. He watched and waited. As the seconds ticked by, her resolve solidified. She turned to him and he came up to her and said in very measured even tones, “You knew who and what I was going into this relationship. I have not lied about anything to you.” She watched his eyes and then she spoke calmly without inflection in her voice, “You’re right. I’m the one who has changed. You changed me. You helped me find things inside me I did not know were there. The dynamics of our relationship have changed.” She stopped and licked her lips. He reached out to her, and he rubbed him thumb over her bottom lip. “I have not changed who I am. I am your Dom, you are my sub. If you had questions or concerns, why didn’t you come to me? Why would you try to run from me?” He shot the questions out and waited for her reply.
She looked up into his eyes and memories flooded through her…all the times they had been together and all the adventures they had enjoyed. “I need more.” She told him in quiet tones with firm resolve in her voice. “I need more from you. I cannot be what you want if you do not give me more. I find that I need more of you. I’m not willing to carry on with our relationship with the terms as they are. “ She turned and moved a bit away and then looked at him again. “I need to be the one you come to when you’re angry, tired, and just you…” She told him quietly. “I can’t be an option any longer. If you cannot give me this, then we need to release each other and move on.” She paced the floor in front of the couch and finally stopped. She walked up to him slowly and looked at him and said softly…”I want to be the one you fulfill your dreams with. The one who tempts you to be more, to dig deeper. Then and only then will we have something worthy of calling ‘ours’. I want to be the one you think of when you are at work behind your desk. I want to be the one you consider when you have time on your hands. I want to be the one you lights up your fantasies. I can’t be the one you seek out when someone else is busy or you’re upset with them. I want all of you, your time, your thoughts, your feelings, your desires, your passion and lust, your anger, your angst. I want to be the one who challenges you, pushes you, brings you higher. I want to be the ‘one’. You have to let me go if you cannot give me these things.” She walked to the wall of glass once more and stood quietly. She waited. She knew she had given him a lot to think about and knew it would not be easy for him. She had given everything she was to him and more… she needed that from him as well. She hoped he understood that anything less than what she asked for would not be acceptable. Turning and taking a deep, calming breath, she looked at him and asked calmly…”Well, what is your answer? Can you give me the things I need and desire? Will you allow me to be your ‘One’?”
